Dook fans disregard the different eras when they compare Deans NCAA record to K.

    Hypocrites?

And please provide a link stating that Dean would schedule cupcakes, and never play an OOC road game unless mandated.

    Thanks

I also like how you totally disregarded the fact that they coached in almost two seperate eras of college basketball. Because everyone knows, if Dead was coaching today, he wouldn't schedule any cupcakes. #LaughableLogic

The best "program leader" yet only had 2 titles, the best "basketball coach" yet only had 2 titles. Yep, we got it. Thanks for sharing your opinion on the matter though.

AND Dean didn't have a bad rap for playing all games against cupcakes and only in Chapel Hill either.

dook fans dont like it but Dean was the best "basketball coach" and the best "program leader"!

k is hanging in there and has done a good job though. kudos to him.

    :)

He has coached many more games making your point invalid.

When he tied Dean he had 25 more losses than Dean, not counting '95 or the 37 they let K keep using an ineligible player (Maggette).

you still holding on the that one? gudluck lil critter!

And do you really believe Dean will have wins vacated. No, you don't, no more than you believe in Herb Sendak!

All top teams do it maroon.

Not in his lifetime would ratk have caught up to Dean. Dean owned the rat and taught him most of what he knows for free.

AH, excuse me but this whole thread assumes a Duke win. Playing @UVA will be a challenge.

This will not be an easy win. In fact, Duke may very well lose.

In any event...K deserves all the credit he gets...for me, I will never put him above DS...but outside of him, he's the greatest to ever coach.

That is a UNCheat issue and a Dean issue, not a Duke or K issue.

    He retired, get over it.

If he would not have retired, you UNCheat fans ONE go to stat of head to head would be moot, K would have caught up to the old chain smoker and alcoholic facilitator/hypocrite.

Be glad Dean retired early and at a younger age than K or K would have never gotten there.

When Mighty Duke takes the floor tonight coach K will become the ACC ALL TIME winningest Coach. The only thing that would make that win even better if it was played in the dd. That's an idea move the game to the dd. I guess that might be rubbing the heels face a bit harsh.
