NINE! 9, Niner, hasn't seen double digit bowl APPEARANCES in 123 YEARS.
But puke beat Carolina three times in the last quarter of a CENTURY.
    What a feat!!! Yayyy Jerseyasia!

Do close wins count less than blowout wins?

Plus, UNC has been cheating for a minimum of 20 years.

NINE MEASLY bowl appearances in one HUNDRED and 23 years, and this is the highlight, barely beating Carolina twice. LOL! Typical jersey mentality. How embarrassing for all to see. YAYYY! Jerseyasia!

After watching Duke and GT in the 1st quarter, I can say that they have improved on defense, and the new QB is a strong runner and can pass the football. This one will be tighter than I thought previously. UNC and Duke is going to be a great one.

UNC was the best in the Atlantic last year....where did dook finish? And when it comes to winning, I wouldn't talk. 20 STRAIGHT LOSING seasons and 2-22 against UNC over the past 24 years. dook got LUCKY last year....it won't happen this year. We'll see who's laughing at the end of the game and end of the season. Happy 21st!

Hard to believe they haven't won anything since.

What is it? 20 straight non-winning seasons?

They really didn't need lawyers to prove they were bad.....good lord.

thank god Duke was the last team in the triangle to win something important in football.

  • FqurAutumn Sep 13, 2013

I think Duke's record in the 30's and 40's was outstanding. Just goes to show how far they have fallen in the past 60 or so years. Even their lawyers can't hide it.

    Sad.

  • kmorcomeback2 Sep 13, 2013

well Duke is the best program in the State according to the experts, so we should win but cheater hill could pull off the upset.

  • FqurAutumn Sep 13, 2013
    Sports Legend

Duke won its breach of contract lawsuit with Louisville, according to the Courier-Journal, after its lawyers argued that at 6-45 over the past five seasons, the football program was so bad, any team would have been a suitable replacement for the Cardinals.

  • FqurAutumn Sep 13, 2013

Sad when Duke's own lawyers use their record to say that they are one of the worse teams in the country in order to get out of a lawsuit.

33-30 last year, this year probably more like 45-14. UNC is too small (and weak) on the Dline for Duke's big bruisers up front.
