    butch davis was brought in specifically to make unc great in football, and improve that post-season record........
    unc is 2-5 in bowl games since butch(they were actually close to .500 when he arrived!)

    But not once during the entire time frame since Sheridan has State’s populace risen in any sort of a concerted insurgence against its football coaching residents. O’Cain clearly was unpopular in his last season. That ’99 team began with a resounding upset at Texas over Mack Brown and ranked 24th nationally after ensuing early-season wins over South Carolina and William & Mary. But after successive losses to UNC and ECU to end the season at 6-6 (3-5 ACC), it was clear then chancellor Marye Anne Fox wanted a change......

    Once again, DADDY (unc) makes state college's coaching decisions for them!

    My favorite is when State college won their last ACC championship way back in the 70's and the bowl committee told them to pound sand!! LOLOLOLOL!

    now, now spellcheck(or is it spelchek?LOL), dont fret over last years regular season mirage, which ended with back-to-back records set in post-season play(0-2.94 pts given up).....it actually ended like the majority of unc post-seasons on football, a loss(14-19 WOW).....NCSU ended bowl season with an uncharacteristic loss(15-13-1), unfortunately....oh well, still winning post-season football at NCSU! unc, not so much...
