Really? You have plenty of proof going back to 57, huh? Where is that?

As to proof things have changed, pretty easy. UNC underwent an accreditation review just last year. I'm sure, with all that had happened, certain areas of the University were reviewed quite closely.

sigh, still no proof, just speculation....plenty of proof unc cheated(actually from waaaay back in the '57* title era, then discovered AGAIN the past decade), but no proof things have changed

As to the quality of the students, these were the same kids that were being recruited in Raleigh, Durham, Greenville, any number of places. I'm sure their abilty to succeed in Chapel Hill would have been no different than their ability to succeed any where else.

Just as I'm thinking you don't have proof that classes for athletes all of the sudden DO exist. We've all seen the proof that gave the world a glimpse at how athletes (don't) attend class there but I don't know if I've seen proof that things have changed.

I simply find it hard to believe that one could go from working on "basic letters and sounds" to succeeding in a legitimate college classroom. Something doesn't seem to fit there, no?

Ehhhhhh, I find that hard to believe.

These athletes who had tutors help them sound out letters have to stay eligible somehow (and it ain't by taking legitimate college level courses, that's for sure).

Ehhhh, that's debatable. Hard to say classes exist when they don't meet, don't have a syllabus, nor an instructor. Those are some key components you're missing there.

On another front, it would seem that Fedora isn't as amused with the Ebron's antics. Since his little Ebronics outburst he's been quarantined from the media and had several tweets deleted. Whoops.

They also won a natty and K has more ncaa tourney wins then anyone. Every team can struggle in the tourney sometimes, especially when you are there every season. More opportunities to lose the more you play, right?

Lehigh is the only thing ppl have against dook? Really?

In the last 10 years they have been the #1 seed 5 times. They were 1-4 in Sweet 16 games during that time. That means as a 1 seed they failed to beat a team seeded higher than #8 four out of five of those years.

In the same time frame they were #2 seed 4 times. As a 2 seed they lost in the first round (Lehigh) 2nd round and in the Sweet 16.

1 year they were 6th and lost in the 1st round.

So over the last 10 years Dook has failed to advance past the 1st Round twice, 2nd Round once and SW16 FIVE times. .pathetic
