the NCAA would have reached a decision about how long to suspend Hairston and McDonald by now. It looks like the NCAA is still trying to decide whether to only suspend those players for the whole season, or whether to dropkick UN*C back into the Stone Age.

LOL! It should be fun to watch!

The asterik denotes cheating, as in University of North Carolina at Cheater Hill.

Not as much fun as watching State College try to fake punt on 4th down.

UNC fans would put a asterisk by State Colleges name but that would require one of their athletic programs actually having won something. Lol!

The current school of thought is that the NCAA has ruled on at least PJ, if not McDonald, and the Holes are feverishly working on an appeal.

Normally, a school rules a kid ineligible, submits info to the NCAA, then waits for them to rule. The kid is ineligible until ruled otherwise. Not sure if Carolina ruled him ineligible, and are just waiting for a ruling, or if they have already ruled and they're waiting to hear back from their appeal.

I tend to think if Roy ruled him ineligible, they would be all over the news announcing it, so as to look like they're taking a tough stance on unacceptable behavior by their players. For that reason, my guess is he has been ruled ineligible already for some number of games.
