Some things from one's college days are not easily forgotten. Whether you are now 55 (or 70 or 85), those are still some of the memories you recall most vividly. Real Carolina alums from that era are snickering in amusement at HG's undoing.

Just because some 70 year old cannot remember the name of a statue or an athletic dorm does not mean he is notg an alum, juss sayin bro. Memories do go bad, figured you all over at UNC would have an intimate understanding of this.

Looks like "heelgrad" has been scared away. Couldn't answer four questions that should have been trivial for any where alum from that era. Any chance that would work for some other trolls here, no matter which school they are trolling?

Also true. Cant underestimate the positive effect taking absolutely no classes has on a player. extra time for shots in the gym (Tokoto could've used that time)

I'd guess Vaughn is a long shot at best for Carolina , but Big Ten? Only Minnesota makes his list of seven schools, and I don't think he's scheduled for a visit.

Vaughn is heading to Big10 and Exum to the NBA. PJ is gone and so is McDonald. Probably Mcadoo, too.

I completely forgot about how PJ getting bounced would impact their already ACC worst APR. Thanks for reminding us Ken.

Tokoto hasn't used a redshirt yet. So he could either use it and stay at Carolina, or he could transfer back home to Minnesota and still have two years eligibility left.

If he stays, Carolina would have 10 scholarship players for the 2015 season, plus any new recruits. But depending on how Hairston reacts if he is kicked off the team permanently, Carolina could be flirting with APR sanctions, which could reduce the number of scholarships they can give.

You guys got a few losses coming in the near future.

Tokoto can jump out of the gym, but seems to lack any touch on his jump shot and simply looks scared with the pressure on at the free throw stripe. Hopefully Mcadoo will not fold when he faces teams with real talent.

  • jabparker4 Nov 18, 2013

Does pose a legitimate question. I am sure he though Mcadoodoo would be gone by now. WHat is the deal with bringing in a PG(Britt), and then letting the gardner webb transfer get his minutes? Is Paige still the point, or does Davis take that over? Hubert, James, and Meeks combined are not doing enough in the paint to help the Heels perimeter woes, and why in the hades does Joel James start? Does PJ even play another game at UNC?

Tokoto would be at the top of my list to go.

  • jabparker4 Nov 18, 2013

Yea, just like he has already figured out to use a timeout at the end of a game when your team is reeling.

Much like his agreement with FSU to leave the game a few minutes early, no doubt!

I am sure Roy has it figured out.

By my count, if every Carolina basketball player eligible to return next season actually stayed, the Heels would have 16 players and only 13 scholarships. And they still have two outstanding offers to players not yet committed for 2014. Something, or someone, has to give.

The most obvious candidate to go, of course, is Hairston, who may be gone by Christmas. Stillman White may not have a scholly to return to when he comes back from his Mormon mission, since the Heels will have 4 other point guards ahead of him. But McAdoo, who seemed a cinch to leave early two years ago now doesn't look so attractive to the pros, and could decide to stay to get a degree in case the NBA doesn't work out for him.

Who else gives up a scholly if Rashad Vaughn or Dante Exum commits to Carolina or McAdoo stays? Hubert? Simmons? Tokoto?
