This is a real tough one. Yes, State has been futile in both the major sports and has to look all the way back 30 years to find an absolute miracle that happened. Their AD's tend to embarrass and there is always a sense of false hope in the air.

Puke however, has only been to NINE bowl games in a HUNDRED and twenty three years. And has never even been to back to back bowl games. AND has had a losing record for the last quarter of a century. That and New Jersey gives the edge to puke in my opinion.

Thank you for your honesty up here, Duke grad.

    Quite refreshing, quite refreshing indeed.

State hands down. By a mile. I'm afraid dukegrad1965 ain't really a duke grad.

I know as a Duke fan I am disappointed, all that talk of an undefeated season and we could not even beat a team with no returning starters. I pray we don't meet Lehigh again.

It looks like it is 1-0 State.

As a Duke fan I realize that State has been a disappointment year in and year out decade after decade. Which is worse, State's expectations last season or a decade of Duke flame outs with top recruits?

As a Duke fan I have to say Coach K's failures are really up there.
