No, Tar Heel fans, this update doesn't feature any update on his PT (it still doesn't exist) but it does include something about his new "back injury"...

Asked how third-string quarterback T.J. Yates — who’s been inactive during games ever since Case Keenum became a starter — hurt his back, Phillips cracked his best one-liner of the year.

Sitting on the bench, I guess,” Phillips said.

It's funny, Carolina fans can't seem to keep their mouth shut when it comes to Glennon, Rivers, and Wilson, but for some reason they don't have anything to say about their own NFL QB. Weird.

I would say "I don't know what to think of it"... But, I know EXACTLY what to think of it.

Phillips and Kubiak have mad coaching skills, one has already been fired and the other has been fired multiple times in the past and will be again at the end of the season. Holding their decisions as proof of anything is rather sad and desperate.

Because Pwnt is all hot and bothered for Heel fans to say something...As far as TJ goes, I never was convinced he was starting QB material, but I also felt the same towards Glennon. You always hope but hope don't pay the bills. He will "hopefully" keep a backup spot for a few years, make some good money, and go into coaching. RW needs to stay healthy, I'm not convinced MG has any longevity, and Rivers has not won the big ones with his productive years fading fast...part of that being not in the greatest spot in the world, but I predicted Rivers a Top 5 pick and won a case of beer on it so...now, how many conference titles did those 2 Wolfpack QBs and one Wiscy QB win for you girlz?

Seems this thread got a few folks all hot and bothered.

No worries, kids, I'm sure TJ is hard at work rehabbing that "back injury" and will be back on the bench before ya know it. I heard the staff is giving TJ a padded bench seat, complete with seat belt and helmet, and a foam clipboard to ensure he doesn't get injured on the bench again. ROFL.
