They're still busy picking up dook fans. Anyway I think they made the right call. Tough break but still proud of my Heels!

WOW! I didnt know that. I agree, probably wouldn't have mattered but ya hate to not get a fair shot. it's all good, we had a respectible year considering. I'm not holding my head low. It's not like we got knocked out in the first round by a 15 seed.

Why? You still crying from Friday. Jeez, little girl, get over it. It's not like you're not used to first round flame-outs by now.

The same ref who gave dook the Syracuse game in Derm ran right by Roy and ignored his TO call, but I don't think we could have done anything in that amount of time anyway.

Actually the refs cost Carolina a chance. Had they started the clock on time, the extra dribbles while looking at the wrong clock would never been made. Thus an earlier timeout and a shot. Roy said post game that he was screaming timeout before the ball made it inbounds and they ignored him.
He also said it is what it is and they lost the game because they didn't make enough plays leading up to the officials mishap.

Duke obviously needed some help. They could not even win one game! LOL!

Not only did UNC blow it the entire ACC did. UVA may represent the conference like we're use to, but if they don't make Final Four then ACC will be embarrassed by UVA, NCSU, Duke, UNC & Syracuse. Not up to ACC standards by my observations this year.

He rode the bus home with his dook teammates Friday and hasn't been seen since. Rumor was he was down in Daddy E's basement crying with you. You can both come out now for the bench burning celebration over on the dook campus.

A move he stole from Roy Williams against Miami the year before.

    Sad.

You mean like when he went into the Mercer lockeroom to congratulate them?

The Refs Made The Right CallRarely happens in unc games...fortunately unc couldn't bring Hess to the tourney with them...

And, unlike a certain rodent-like coach from Derm, Roy took it like a man and congratulated the opposing coach. Rat would have cursed everyone in the arena, then sent one of his lackeys out of the dressing room to do it again.

I have no problem, with the way the game ended. The clock should have run out, before the TO. The Heels blew it! Oh well. Time to move on.

    GO HEELS!!!
