Mercer makes us make posts like this. Look up and down the list, our hurt is readily apparent.

Looking back over the history of this whole scandal, the NCAA's inaction really is becoming a parody of itself.

    - Well, we know that one football player got a suspect grade on his transcript, but that doesn't mean there was anything fraudulent about the class.
    - OK, so the class was fraudulent, but that doesn't mean there was more than one class like that.
    - OK, so there were hundreds of classes like that, but that doesn't mean athletes were involved any more than other students.
    - OK, so athletes were involved substantially more than other students, but that doesn't mean the revenue sports athletes were the main ones involved.
    - OK, so the revenue athletes were the main ones involved, but we don't even know if anyone on the basketball team ever took one of those classes.
    - OK, so Julius Peppers clearly took those classes, but its not like the rest of the basketball team was involved.
    - OK, so the majority of the 2000-era title teams majored in AFAM, but that doesn't mean they took fake classes. - OK, so the 2005 team took a boatload of fake classes, but that information wasn't supposed to be available...

I'm beginning to think it's literally going to take the discovery of an NCAA rulebook that has been annotated by Dean Smith and Roy Williams as to the specific rules that they were violating, then subsequently signed and notarized by both of them, to actually get the NCAA to take action. And even then I'm not sure they will.
