    Wouldn't be surprised to see that. I watched the UC Irvine/OSU game until the 7th when I felt it was over. UCI is 37-22 at this point. Funny thing about the UCI pitcher, his fastball was low 80s to 85 tops, generally in the 82/83 mph ranger, threw a breaker (low to high 70s). Bet the OSU players thought they would hammer that guy going in but he located his pitches well & kept the OSU batters off balance all night.

    Yep...remember it well. It's great to win 40 regular season games going in, have a high RPI, etc., but they're all even when the tourney starts. Nice example, btw. Fresno ended the regular season 33-27 in 2008 before making their NT run. If you can win 30 games during the regular season, you have a very capable club. Good luck to the Heels today.

    I remember Fresno State coming out of nowhere winning in 2008

    Fresno St. was a #4 seed that year.

    Yep...baseball can be a wacky sport. Looks like UC Irvine (36-22) is gonna dump Oregon State, up 4-0 in the 6th. Baseball is like that....unpredictable. Heels pitching staff/D did a number on the Gators (2 runs & 0 errors), timely hits in the 3rd. Nice job sending the Gators to the house.

    What do you say BB5. Yeah, the Heels have been Jekyl and Hyde...very wacky baseball season...anyone's guess who will win it.
