How will Carolina fare in basketball?

No. 50 won't be suiting up for UNC this season, but plenty of talent remains. Can Carolina win the ACC? Reach the Final Four? What do you expect from the Tar Heels in basketball this season?

Top 1-2 in the ACC, around 25 wins, and a mid-tournament run in the NCAAs (probably 1 more weekend than Duke).

UNC will still win the ACC. They have a bunch of talent again. They young guys will learn quickly.

2nd place in the ACC regular season. Sweet sixteen finish in the NCAA. They've got a lot of veterans to replace, including point guard, and without a proven PG they won't go deep.

First in the ACC. Elite 8. FF is the PG becomes ridiculous.

They will have another very good season. With a few breaks, who knows?

They can win the ACC and make the Final 4. The only question is the point guard play.

We're definately gonna lose a few games this year, but its still very possible to win the ACC and go further than Duke has gone in the NCAA in past years. Point guard play is going to be the only question.

Don't think UNC is winning the ACC this time. Heels losing at least 5 ACC games, team is too young. So Duke will have to lose 6, Gatech could get close. Who else is contending?

It is going to be an interesting season this year for the Heels. I feel that they will definitely be in the top 3 in the ACC. If our PG play is up to par, which I think it will be, this team can win the ACC and make a run in the NCAA Tournament. They are probably a year away (I think I said 2 years in another forum) from being contenders for a Title. Recruiting looks great. The Heels will be competitive for years to come.
