In its first action since its only loss of the season to Boston College, the No. 3 North Carolina men’s basketball got back to its winning ways against College of Charleston, steamrolling the Cougars 108-70.

College of Charleston kept the game close early with eight three-point baskets in the first half, but Tar Heels pulled away with 12-0 run to start the second half and never looked back.

Tyler Hansbrough led all scorers with 24 points, and Ty Lawon dished out 8 assists to go with 15 points.

Slow start on the defensive end but great on the offensive side. They came out a bit hyped. Way too many 3 pointers given up. I was happy to see the offense come out blazing in the second half which sparked the increase in intensity on the defensive side. Overall, a great effort by the Heels. Let's get prepared to take it to Wake on Sunday night.

GO HEELS!!!
