In its first action since its only loss of the season to Boston College, the No. 3 North Carolina men’s basketball got back to its winning ways against College of Charleston, steamrolling the Cougars 108-70.
College of Charleston kept the game close early with eight three-point baskets in the first half, but Tar Heels pulled away with 12-0 run to start the second half and never looked back.
Tyler Hansbrough led all scorers with 24 points, and Ty Lawon dished out 8 assists to go with 15 points.
