Lawson may not play against Va. Tech

North Carolina junior point guard worked on an exercise bike and shot free throws Wednesday, but the Tar Heels do not expect him to play Friday in an ACC Tournament game with Virginia Tech.

UNC spokesman Steve Kirschner said the team will see how Lawson feels in the morning before making a final decision.

Lawson jammed his right big toe last Friday in practice but played in the victory over Duke Sunday. However, the toe swelled up after that, which has caused UNC to reevaluate using him in the ACC Tournament.

I think we need to let the Dr. & Roy take care of what to do that's what they get paid for. We just need to suppost our team and pary Ty will get better, he is a great player and hope he will play for a long time, not just ACC, but in the future if that's what he want.
