AP Source: UNC's Little won't travel for LSU game

A person with knowledge of the decision says North Carolina receiver Greg Little won't travel to Atlanta for the 18th-ranked Tar Heels' opener against No. 21 LSU.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the ongoing NCAA probe at the school is confidential.

Investigators visited the campus in July initially focused on whether Little and defensive tackle Marvin Austin received improper benefits from agents. That investigation has since expanded to include possible academic misconduct involving a tutor.

Coach Butch Davis suspended Austin on Wednesday for violating team rules.

But wasn't there a report recently that claimed Little had been cleared? Due to that, this is just a little surprising.

There is NO need to Panic. The reports of the Yankee invaders inside our holy city of Baghdad are totally false. We have NOT been invaded by the American Imperialist pigs.....

Remember the Minister of Information on Saturday Night (I think) was on the State TV telling the citizens to be calm.

Perhaps, if the Minister is still available, he can do live reports from Chapel Hill.

The N&O has already picked up this story (may have had it first) and they seem solid as well.

Inside Carolina is awash with disbelief, denial and degenerated comments....

More of this will ooze out as the clocks ticks....
