Marvin Austin tears pectoral muscle

The official twitter account for the NY Giants reported Tuesday that defensive tackle and former North Carolina football player, Marvin Austin has torn his left pectoral muscle.
They further tweeted that head coach Tom Coughlin said the injury will require surgery and that the injury will most likely be season ending.
Austin recorded three tackles, two solo, in two preseason games with the Giants before the injury.
Austin, who was touted as a first-round draft pick prior to the 2010 season, was drafted by the Giants with 20th pick in the second round and No. 52 overall.
Austin was dismissed from the North Carolina team during the 2010 season due an estimated $10,000-$13,000 received in improper benefits.
On Aug. 13, Austin returned to North Carolina as a member of the Giants when they took on the Carolina Panthers in a preseason game. After the game, WRAL TV reporter Jason Jennings asked Austin about his time at UNC. Austin said he has no regrets and is excited to be playing football again.

As for Marvin's pectoral muscle -- too bad about the football, maybe he'll use the time to get his diploma.
I doubt the e-proliferation will stop however as I will fight the honorable Tar Heel, just, and the American Way e-battle!@;~)
And I bet in elementary school you ruled the dodge ball field!
