LaRose still may come back to Canes

Hurricanes TV voice John Forslund joined The Sports Lunch on Wednesday afternoon and predicted that Erik Cole would test the market and quickly come running back to the Canes, and Chad LaRose could be on a new team sometime Thursday.
The first part of his prediction happened to a "T". Cole resigned with the Canes a few hours later. And Chad LaRose is still on the free agent market. It may have some worried that he won't be back in Carolina.
ESPN.com hockey columnist Pierre LeBrun doesn't think that his extended stay in the free agent pool means he won't be back in Carolina. He thinks that LaRose simply has to hear back from teams who were all caught up with big name signings on the first days of free agency.
He's only been on the free agent market for less than two days, and the Canes already have him off the depth chart on their official website. He is technically not a Hurricane at the moment.
