The Nov. 30 issue of ESPN The Magazine surveyed 100 college basketball players from 23 Division I conferences to come clean on topics from agents to coaches and cheerleaders. For instance, 9% of those questioned said they were offered money as a recruit. 8 of those respondents came from the power conferences. 20% say they have "hooked up" at their home arena, which means more than we care to know is getting wiped off the floor during timeouts.

The survey gets Tobacco Road centric when the players were asked about coaches and programs. What is the best program in college basketball? North Carolina was the overwhelming answer, beating Duke 62% to 9%. The most overrated? Duke with 43%.

The respondents have mixed feelings about Mike Krzyzewski. According to the survey, 43% say Coach K was the smartest coach in college basketball, a wide margin over Roy Williams. However, 8% said he would be the last coach they'd want to play for. Which means 8 players don't want actual basketball acumen guiding them to success on the court. Let me know when that makes sense.

We have 2 great coaches and programs in this area. It's just that very few talented young men want to be yelled at and belittled for motivation like in Durham

I think Duke has won more at the banner dome than any other team.

What do you mean you "think" Duke has won more at UNC than any other team? How in the world are you not absolutely sure of it? How on Earth could you not know that with absolute certainty? Lemme give you a little lesson . . .

Duke has won more at UNC than any other team: FACT. UNC has won more at Duke than any other team: FACT. They are the 2 best teams in the history of the ACC: FACT.

And finally, UNC owns Duke: FACT. In football AND basketball. It isn't even close. And your "big homecourt advantage" hasn't worked for you since 2005: FACT. So go curl up in a ball and wonder whatever happened to the best era in Duke history: The Gutheridge/Doherty era.

Now, back to FACTS (concerning THIS topic, funny you mention football, you guys are all the same)...

FACT; currently, Duke holds the nation's consecutive non-conference home court winning streak at 72 games. UNC (I think) has a whopping 29 game non-conference home court winning streak. Goat, please review the 29 number and get back with me. Although the number is really small, I counted really fast.

Yes, I know. So, out of 227 Duke/UNC games, UNC has won 33 more times, or 57% of those games. Good job. That is truly amazing.

Speaking of the number 29, you could win that many in a row against UNC and still be behind in the series. And that is also a FACT.
