Cowher says no to Buffalo
Nov 24, 2009
You've got to love that patented face. It might be the most distinct in sports.
Raleigh resident and ex-Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowl champion coach Bill Cowher was courted by the Buffalo Bills about the head coaching vacancy. ESPN.com reports that Cowher said he was not interested in interviewing at this time.
So does that mean he's interested at interviewing at another time? The source said he is going to wait until the end of the season if he is going to interview for a job. I know some coaches just can't stay away from the game, but if it were me I'd be loving life right now. I have a Super Bowl in the bag. I'm taking some time off to live down in Raleigh and hang with my family and I do some national TV stuff on Sunday. Why in the world would I want to change that up?
I did see Cowher at a Duke basketball game already this season. His daughter Lindsay dates Duke freshman Ryan Kelly. She also plays basketball at Wofford.

Regarding the picture, that was taken right after he was asked about Buffalo, don't hold it against him.RE: Cowher says no to Buffalo

Bill has paid his NFL dues and will be a Hall of Fame coach one day. In the meantime, he's really an informative analyst now, and does a great job in the pregame and halftime shows on Sunday. I hope he chills on the NFL set, and keeps us fans in the know!Great job.....Bill!

I am hearing rumors of Cowher to ND..if he goes there after saying no to us...C'Mon Man!!!- Posted by PACKFAN08
I think he wasn't ready to coach when we were in the market for a new coach. He may not have wanted to be the one to unseat Amato, either. But there is no comparison to ND for us. What coach wouldn't want to be at ND??? I love State and all, but I think ND would be the one destination that TOB would accept if they came calling.
