Last week the Carolina Panthers released Jake Delhomme. This week Matt Moore says this is his team now.
Surely the Panthers will bring in another QB to make a run at the starting job, but you have to appreciate the kid's confidence.

I agree with Wade. This will be a tough year for the Panthers. They let Hoover go, which IMO was a mistake. Yeah, Pep had to go - too much $$$ tied up in a player who didn't want to be there. The Panthers will be young this year and will face many challenges. I'm glad Smitty is still there, and I think he was instrumental in Jake's firing. If Jake were to come back as the starter, I think Smitty would have walked.Posted Mar 13, 9:54 p.m.
