Singler crashes into ESPN's Shulman
Mar 15, 2010
You've heard the saying, a player will run through a brick wall to describe their effort.
In the ACC championship game, Duke's Kyle Singler ran over ESPN broadcaster Dan Shulman. Singler, the tournament's most outstanding player, dove for a loose ball and went head first over press row and into Shulman and Dick Vitale.
Singler got a wide scratch on the back of his right shoulder but the biggest damage came to the metal chair that bent on impact.
I asked Singler after the game when did he realize who he was diving into. "During," he laughed.

That was the highlight of the game for me. I'm not a Singler fan by any means, but if he took out Vitale, I'd be a fan for life.- Posted by jgunn
Why is that???? Dick V loves UNC more than most of you guys, even more than Tim Hall......
