Hours after it was reported David and Travis Wear would be transferring out of North Carolina, some of their future former teammates fired up Twitter to react. Larry Drew II even started a trending topic dubbed "they left because."
Drew updated his status to read, "#theyleftbecause I still couldn't tell them apart." He followed up that zinger with, "#theyleftbecause they found out they would have to room with zeller...again."
Jon Henson later added on his own Twitter feed, "its all good though, because now roy got room to bring a couple more thoroughbreds to the stable."
Amusing -- unless you're Deon Thompson. The exiting senior tweeted to Drew, Henson and Dexter Strickland, "yall need to chill on that ish man..."

Don't worry dude - I am well on my way to turning my back on my Alma Mater.Roy can't right this sinking ship fast enough.
Less literacy & more ghetto is a pretty dadgum effective recipe for alienating all of us normal folks out here in the Tarheel Nation.
PS: If it's true that the Wears got squat in the way of health care from UNC Hospitals, then that would also be in line with my family's experience - one member of my family was killed by the doctors at UNC-H and another member of my family was maimed for life by them.

Roy needs to come out and repudiate this ****, or he is about to lose the Tarheel Nation.
If he doesn't bring in [and RETAIN!!!] some more players who can read & write & speak the English language, who understand basic good manners, and who can at least do a plausible job of pretending to be college students, then his program is heading for disaster.
And now he's recruiting MUSLIMS?!?

There is going to be a MASSIVE shift away from UNC hoops and towards Duke, as long as K can bring in kids who look and act and speak and comport themselves like gentlemen, and Roy keeps bringing in these racialist/Mugabe-esque little thugs.
I am just sick of this **** - going all the way back to that worthless piece of ****, Makhtar Ndiaye.
PS: When was the last time that a Tarheel player had a legitimate major? The last one I remember was Henrik Rodl, in 1993, who majored in Biology.
Back in the day, we used to get guys like an Eddie Fogler, who could actually major in things like Mathematics, or a Steve Hale, who went on to medical school and became a pediatrician.
Now all we get are these **** **** Afro-studies majors who are all functional illiterates. What a ****ing mess.
I hope you're the first person who shifts to Duke. With those views you'd fit in better with that shade of blue. Or maybe you'd prefer a white robe.

There is not a thing wrong with majoring in Afro-American studies. in fact, sounds like you could use a course or two yourself!!
