Groupon, which is a deal-of-the-day website, has become popular thanks to offering special pricing on goods and off-beat services. Everything from half price dinners at local restaraunts to 75% off your next laser hair removal can be had, just as long as a certain number of people sign up for the offer.
That now includes NC State football tickets.
Sales for upcoming Wolfpack home games against Western Carolina and Boston College must have been slow because yesterday's "daily deal" was a pair of tickets for either contest. Groupon exclaimed "up to $104 value!"
The deal ended with 1,362 purchases, far exceeding the minimum requirement of 25, but falling short of Saturday's 90-minute massage deal. 1,435 people snatched that up. Not a surprise considering you're more guaranteed to walk away satisfied.
Having a couple of Wolfpack tickets inside the $25 school fundraiser coupon books can't be far behind.

I'm suprised that Joe didn't include some of the lines from this advertisement about pork skins being a loveable food as well as a sport and also comparing football to Ancient Rome and gladiators.Too much comedy gold there to overlook.

this is shoot...they undercut their season ticket holders every year, I can understand offering deep discounts during the week of the game, but 3 or 4 weeks out.- Posted by ewcanes
season tickets were sold at $305 this year, and you could get two separate mini-packs that had tickets to all six home games for $286 saving $19!
ridiculous
Except if you don't have LTR seats, who knows where your seats will be.
