Eagle-eyed Hayes Permar of The Serious Sports Blog caught Holden Thorp mean-mugging behind the ESPN broadcasters. The UNC Chancellor didn't exactly look like he was enjoying the action.

What was on his mind? Was he wondering why Kendall Marshall wasn't getting more minutes? Was he admiring Roy Williams' purple tie? Maybe he was just trying to remember if he left the oven on at home.

It was none of the above. Thorp responded on Twitter, saying "Actually, I was wondering why my daughter needed another ice cream."

To Warren G and all the other Carolina homers, just want to wish a Merry Christmas and I look forward to more of the "Carolina Way" from the fine folks in Chapel Hill for the 2011 season. Best of luck topping the previous year. You guys sure did make some headlines!!

In related investigative journalism, Baddour witnessed practicing poor posture, shoulders slumped. Get on it Joe, those evil UNC administrators must be hiding something with all these poker faces and poor posture!!!

Maybe the PR firm advised him to have a poker face. And if DBD is right about advertisers being happy with clicks, they must love the Heels.
