Mike Krzyzewski picked up his first technical foul of the season Sunday.

The video above shows it all.

After a few fouls went against the Blue Devils’ way, you can see Coach K’s reaction that led referee Bryan Kersey to call the technical.

Station policy means we at Fankind have to blur out some noticeable expletives.

The most entertaining part comes in the latter portions when Krzyzewski keeps calling Kersey by name from across the court arguing he never called him anything to warrant the technical.

It is true K never did any name-calling, unless he was saying Kersey was a prominent figure from the New Testament. But that wasn’t enough to rescind the call.

Not that this was a bad thing for Duke.

The Devils were not whistled for another foul for the next 12:15 of game action, and Duke outscored the Jackets 66-39 after the technical foul shots.

Ha Ha!! What would a dookie know about true southern gentlemen? I know you aren't implying that kay is one.

No, K is from Chitown. Roy IS from the south. But like I keep saying, K doesn't cuss in front of women on national TV and Huck does

What the eff is that an example of? Roy made it very clear to the woman he wasn't mad at her, but the question "the producer in her ear" was making her ask him was not very decent to ask "as a human being". And after making the comment SEVERAL times that he would not answer the question, he had to throw in the sh*t to get his point across finally.

The biggest difference is that Rat K throws the F bombs within ear shot of the media, young fans, etc etc during the game. Roy's comment came after Kansas's loss to end their season...a very emotional time for a coach especially when he has seniors who's careers are over. I've not heard Roy accused of being foul mouthed during games, but I would not be surprised if he slips from time to time. Grown men are prone to do that.

I don't condone either form of swearing, but the difference in the emotions involved in these instances is noteworthy. I would also absolutely NOT be offended to hear a coach blowing off steam on the sideline with cuss words, but I can understand how thin skinned people would be offended. And I certainly would never claim Roy has a clean mouth, especially when mad or frustrated. I don't think Roy or Rat K has ever been approached about being miked up during a game. For good reason ;)

And Seth Greenberg can be pretty potty mouthed. Bruce Pearl too. The king would be Calipari, who's been known to call his star player a "greedy motherf*cker" on the air.

But Mrs. Rat K (Mickie??), from what I've heard for many years, makes them all sound like choir boys during games LOL And she's from Virginia...not exactly "southern belle" material, eh?

I can taste your tears. Your coach curses in front of women and is a dirtbag

What a comeback. You can't refute dougie's points so you resort to name calling.

I see paulie and bdf are still MIA!! hehehe

RE: Video of Coach K's technical foul

"is it less classier than this?" (sic)

You think the two are the same? Roy spoke out of frustration to an adult professional journalist, and was indeed as polite to her as he could muster, even with using the "S" word. She's a grown girl, she can take it...

Coach K called the student newspaper sports writers to his office to chew them out for not calling it the way HE saw it, and used profanity in the process. (As though the student newspaper writers aren't a bunch of HOMERS already..lol...)

These two things are basically the same, in your view?

actually cursing a female on national TV is a hell of a lot worse. Ask any true southern man

Once again, women and children watch NATIONALLY TELEVISED basketball games. Did you count how many times WRAL had to put a black bar over kay's potty mouth in this video??? If he hadn't been blocked by players during parts of the video, they probably would have had to put up more little black bars.
