Overzealous fans run announcer out of state

Posted March 13, 2011

This story is just strange.

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit -- one of the best college football analysts around -- is moving away from his home state of Ohio.

That may not sound like much of a story, but it is when you consider the reason for Herbstreit's move.

The former Ohio State quarterback is apparently too objective for Buckeye fans' taste, and they let him know it. He's moving to Nashville, TN in order to avoid the constant complaints.

It's a shame that one of the best broadcasters around feels he has to leave home because of his objectivity.

I hope Herb does better with Volunteer fans.
