Former & current UNC athletes hit twitter about Davis firing

Just moments after official word came out that Butch Davis had been fired as the head coach at North Carolina former and current UNC athletes hit the twittersphere to give their thoughts on the matter.
Former quarterback T.J. Yates was shocked at the news. Former OL Mike Ingersoll, who signed with the Chiefs, tweeted "Wow Carolina...really".
Former cornerback Kendric Burney a new member of the Carolina Panthers desperately tweeted as the news was spreading, "What's going on in chapel hill I need updates ASAP".
Even the current basketball players got in on the action, all of them backing the former football coach. Kendall Marshall simply threw out the hashtag #WeSupportButch. Reggie Bullock took it further "Real talk Butch was that dude! #salute Only if I played football lol". John Henson emphasized his feelings with emoticons "Not Coach Davis !!!! ... Tell me ain't so!!! :( ".
Former UNC basketball player Bobby Frasor also used his 140 characters, "If there is no new information, and we still fire Coach Davis now... I'm gonna be funked.".
Current football players are not allowed to use twitter but from the looks of those close to the program and North Carolina athletics, they don't agree with the university's move to fire Butch Davis. I'm sure we'll hear more in the upcoming days as the facts unfold. And remember we still have the hearing off in the distance.

New information has been dropping from the apple cart left and right all through the warm months. Does anyone in their right mind believe that we know all there is to know? Yes, the basketball players as well as the football players. They have a special brotherhood, and I do give them credit for not trashing a coach. We fans can do that on our own.
