Thorp forming AD search committee

Last year we went through a search for a new Athletic Director at NC State and, with North Carolina athletic director Dick Baddour asking the school to begin the search for his replacement immediately, we now we have one at UNC.

According to a UNC spokesperson, Chancellor Thorp has been talking to a lot of people trying to gather input and ideas about the search for the university's new athletic director.

Thorp is in the process of pulling together a search committee but has not decided if he will use a search firm.

NC State opted to use Parker Executive Search, an Atlanta firm that also handled athletic director searches for Notre Dame, Washington and Mississippi State.

The firm cost NCSU $75,000.

UNC-CH diploma values...........wow...down down down......and jobs for UNC-CH grads have never been much, outside of the professional ones (med, law, etc).

Another Wolfturd Red Rage Imposter. Man up and bring some game rather than posting so lame. Let that Pharmacist know that graduated from Carolina how you feel about his/her diploma just before they fill your Prozac scipt. Make sure when you go before that judge that graduated Carolina to get that speeding ticket reduced he knows you think the value of his diploma is going down, down, down. Also, make sure those school teachers who take care of your kids, those nurses that clean your dump your catheter bag and put up with your sheetz, make sure you advise them about their diploma value. This story is about UNC's AD search. How did State get in here? Obsessing again? We're not your rival, so what's up with the hatred?

I understand that a lot of UNC fans are touchy these days, but, the question was to Double EE, not you. I am confident he is capable of answering for himself. I respect his posts here and was just curious why he had to throw a dart at State. I've also read a lot of your posts, and you just seem to be a hater in Carolina Blue.

Oh gee, ouch.

Your thoughts would be relevant if you were as concerned with wulf fans commenting on UNC blogs.

Given that you do not question those folks at all, not sure you why you are so concerned bout UNC fans replying in the same fashion.
If you want to have "standards", you need to apply them equally. If not, your concerns are useless.

$75,000..? For what? It didn't help any, and won't. STATE still sucks.
