The 2013 McDonald’s All-America teams have been released with a trio of future Blue Devils listed on the West Team as Oderah Chidom of Oakland, Calif., Kendall Cooper of Carson, Calif., and Rebecca Greenwell of Owensboro, Ky., were three of the 24 selected.

The 36th annual All-America game will be played on April 3, 2013, at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. It will be aired live on ESPNU at 7:00 p.m. (ET). Duke and North Carolina led all schools with three selections each.

Chidom owns season averages of 14.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 3.0 assists at Bishop O’Dowd High School. A 6-4 forward, Chidom was recently featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd section in December.

On the season, Cooper is averaging 11.5 points, 12.8 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.7 assists at St. Anthony’s H.S. The 6-3 forward has totaled 12 double-doubles on the season and versus Bishop Montgomery in December she notched 20 points and 22 rebounds. Cooper blocked a season-high nine shots in the second game of the season.

Out of Owensboro Catholic H.S., Greenwell owns averages of 22.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.2 steals. Greenwell collected a national record of 17 three-pointers on Jan. 14 against Trinity as she finished with a season-high 51 points. The 6-1 guard is coming off notching 17 points and 15 rebounds in the Class A State Championship victory over Newport Central Catholic H.S., on Jan. 27.

The four-member recruiting class for Duke, which also includes Kianna Holland of Seneca, S.C., has been tabbed No. 2 nationally.
